The run starts at The Beamish Hall Hotel which was an ancestral home of Bobby Shafto. It is approximately 100 miles with a places to stop for Sunday dinner or afternoon coffee and cakes. Entry is £20/car and includes route book, rally board and refreshments at Beamish.

This is a free to enter show for MGs and Classic cars at the Riverside Park in Chester le Street, however you do have to register and obtain a pass for your car. The application form for a pass can be obtained from the Durham club website.
Join West Cheshire MGOC for their fourth annual charity run from Holt, near Chester, to Hawarden Castle via Bala in North Wales. The entry fee is £20 per car, and is open to all MG models and other classics in production prior to 1977. Subject to availability, Fuzz Townshend will be at the start once again. Join Leicester MGOC on their annual run, which now attracts around 90 cars each year. Starting at Quorn Great Central Railway Station, the route of around 75 miles is mainly along country lanes to Rufford Abbey Country Park in Nottinghamshire, calling at a halfway stop. Starting in the morning with a hot drink and breakfast roll at the museum before it opens for the day you will set off on a circular route of the Staffordshire and Shropshire countryside with its areas of natural beauty. On return to the RAF Cosford Museum you will be able to walk around the fascinating displays. £29 per car of two people.
Chichester MGOC are organising a 7 or 8 night tour of Scotland. Starting from the SouthCoast, the tour can be joined anywhere on route to suit any particular requirement. There is a variety of accommodation available. The tour gives MG drivers the ultimate driving experience through spectacular scenery. There is no cost to join the tour; for those requiring full details, itineraries, ferry costs, and approximate fuel and accommodation costs.
This year's tour starts in Dornoch, before heading east along the beautiful Oykel Valley, towards the breathtaking mountains of Assynt. The route then proceeds to Achiltibuie with spectacular views across the Summer Isles to Lewis. he return leg is via Lochinver, finishing at the ancient seat of the Dukes of Sutherland, Dunrobin Castle for afternoon tea.
