  1. Cheshire Candles Charity Run

     

    Join West Cheshire MGOC for their fourth annual charity run from Holt, near Chester, to Hawarden Castle via Bala in North Wales. The entry fee is £20 per car, and is open to all MG models and other classics in production prior to 1977. Subject to availability, Fuzz Townshend will be at the start once again.  Guide Dogs for the Blind and The Clywd Riding Centre for the Disabled are the nominated charities. Book now at www.candlesrun.org.

  2. Rotary Club of East Sutherland Coast to Coast Classic Car Tour

     

    This year's tour starts in Dornoch, before heading east along the beautiful Oykel Valley, towards the breathtaking mountains of Assynt. The route then proceeds to Achiltibuie with spectacular views across the Summer Isles to Lewis. he return leg is via Lochinver, finishing at the ancient seat of the Dukes of Sutherland, Dunrobin Castle for afternoon tea. To enter, please contact Paddy Murray a secretary@eastsutherlandrotary.org/classic-car-tour.

  3. Pendine Dash

     

    Pembrokeshire MG Car club invite you to their run starting at the main entrance to the Botanical Garden of Wales, near Carmarthen and finish at the same venue at the Corporate entrance. The route of approximately 85 miles will be largely in Carmarthenshire and parts of Pembrokeshire. Entry Fee remains at £15. Details from Stewart Robert.   4. Solent MGs in the Park

     

    Join Solent MGOC for their annual event at Stansted Park. There will be a garden party and picnic as you visit the Edwardian house and extensive grounds. Enjoy the miniature railway and cream teas with music from the Soberton Strummers and a Victorian music organ. Free entry to a raffle and prizes awarded for the best cars.

  5. Moor to Sea

     

    Exeter MGOC presents its 29th annual Moor 2 Sea event starting and finishing at Dainton Park Golf Club near Newton Abbot. Come along to this West Country adventure designed for you and your MG. As usual this is the bank holiday weekend, so why not make it a mini holiday. The cost will be £28 per car and includes refreshments at the start and finish, rally board, and route book. Monies raised from entries will go to support local Devonshire charities.   6. MGs at the Churnet Valley Railway

     

    Join the Potteries and South Cheshire MGOC at this wonderfully preserved railway at Froghall in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands countryside.   7. 20th Anniversary New Forest Run

    Join the Southampton and New Forest Club for a run of about 65 miles in the New Forest. To celebrate our 20th anniversary each entry will receive a special mug, brooch and finishers plaque.   8. The MGs in the Park 2018

     

    Join Oxford MGOC for one of the biggest events in the MG calendar at Cotswold Wildlife Park. MG drivers gain free admission whilst passengers get a discounted rate of £11.50 each, Children & Seniors £8 each and under 3's free.
